Nehir leads the conceptual design and design development phases of architectural and interior design projects, combining strong academic credentials with extensive professional experience. Recognized with multiple awards in architectural design competitions and she received the “Best PhD Award” for her dissertation at METU in 2021. She has taught architectural design studios, as well as courses in architectural history and conservation, at several universities, and is an active member of national and international architecture and conservation organizations.

In parallel with her academic work, Nehir has built a diverse professional portfolio, contributing to projects of different scales and typologies. Earlier in her career, she took part in archaeological excavations and collaborated on national and international research projects—experiences that enriched her interdisciplinary perspective and continue to inform her design approach with a nuanced understanding of cultural heritage, research-driven methodologies, and context-sensitive design strategies
